In addition to photography, we experimented with camcorder videography throughout the first half of the day. I had found my mom’s old camcorder and wanted to try it out, capturing the morning’s emotional moments in a nostalgic, vintage style. When we ran out of tape, rather than stopping coverage there, I pulled out an extra camera and had one of my assistants continue filming the rest of the night, ensuring every moment was documented.
A Reception to Remember
After an emotional ceremony, the celebration kicked into high gear. The barn was filled with laughter, music, and high energy as guests danced the night away. The DJ kept the party going, even getting Allie’s grandmother on the dance floor to do the Stanky Leg—a moment that will be talked about for years to come! The reception was the perfect ending to a day full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. I even got to hang out with the groomsmen for a rooftop cigar party mid reception. It was just as wild as you’re probably thinking it was!
