There’s something about a summer wedding in San Antonio that feels wonderfully cinematic. The heat hangs in the air, the light feels golden, and somehow, the whole day carries a little more romance.

For Dylan + Bianca, their wedding day unfolded at the iconic McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, surrounded by art, architecture, and the lush beauty of the museum grounds. It was a hot and humid summer day—the kind of Texas heat you don’t soon forget—but it only added to the atmosphere of the day.
From the beginning, their wedding felt like an effortless blend of elegance and personality. With My Forever by Nikki helping bring all of the moving pieces together, Dylan and Bianca were able to settle into the day and actually experience it rather than spend it worrying about the details.
And there were plenty of details worth remembering.
Bianca wore a beautiful gown from Olivia Grace Bridal, with hair and makeup by Carolina Ro Artistry. Their celebration included music and entertainment from Essen Entertainment, a beautiful cake from Oh Yeah Cakes, and, of course, the incredible setting of the McNay Art Museum itself.
As their wedding photographer, I wanted to document the day as it actually felt—not just how it looked. The quiet moments, the movement, the people they love, the in-between pieces that happen when nobody is thinking about the camera. Alongside their photographs, I also captured camcorder footage throughout the day, giving them those nostalgic little snippets that feel like a home movie from a life you never want to forget.
There’s something especially beautiful about photographing a wedding at the McNay. The architecture and artwork naturally create an editorial backdrop, but it’s the people and the moments happening within those spaces that make the photographs meaningful.
Dylan + Bianca’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that the best wedding photographs aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. Sometimes they’re the ones where someone is laughing too hard, a dress catches the breeze, a hand finds another hand, or everyone forgets for a moment that there’s a camera nearby.
A hot Texas summer day. An iconic San Antonio setting. The people they love most. And a whole lot of moments worth remembering.
