I had the opportunity to be the second photographer for this dreamy winter Texas Hill Country wedding located in the most scenic spot in Kerrville, Texas. The minute I walked into Sendera Springs I was blown away by it’s gorgeous views, both inside and out. It was as if Tuscany met the Texas Hill Country. Their alter overlooks a massive pond, which at sunset reflects the sun so beautifully. It’s truly breathtaking. And their reception hall is so grand.
Being the second photographer, I get to be much more creative with my shots, and I took full advantage of that! These photographs are some of my favorites. The colors, the energy. Everything came together so perfectly.
Kayla’s energy was magnetic, and Derrick couldn’t take his eyes off of her the entire night. They made for the most beautiful couple, and you could just feel the love radiating off of these two! And when Kayla stepped out after her outfit change in her party dress, the party was ON!
One of my favorite moments was when Kayla, lead planner for Rust + Relics, surprised Kayla, the bride, with corn dogs at the reception! The bride wanted to have corn dogs for the entire reception as a late night snack, but couldn’t find a vendor to make it happen. So they settled on mac’n cheese instead, which was still delicious. But Kayla, the planner, went above and beyond to make sure the bride got her corn dogs! It was such an unforgettable moment.
We concluded this dreamy winter Texas Hill Country wedding with a sparkler exit, and sent these two love birds on their way!
